Packing up

We'll now proceed with keeping the equipments for future use. Starting off from the fish tank end, close the umbrella pipe's tap and unhook it from the fish tank. Tilt it around to empty it of water, then keep it somewhere behind your fish tank to hide it from sight.

"This is so much easier than having to carry pails to your fish tank!"

If you had decided earlier to not use a 2-way hose connector, simply leave the hose connected to the water tap. Otherwise, disconnect the hose without closing the 2-connector's tap, and shake the hose about to empty some of its water. As the connector's tap are sometimes not perfectly tight, it is a good idea to do that to prevent water leakages. Finally, close the connector's tap, find a place nearby to hide it.

Easy wasn't it? This is so much easier than having to carry pails to your fish tank! Hope this will help make the hobby more enjoyable for you!
